I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

No, my side allways seems to be the losing side. And that's not because of my arguing/presentation/debating skills, but because of my wievs:
      - I want higher taxation (low taxes = bad social healthcare, education, ect.)
      - I want to reverse the economic growth (economic growth = pollution in the atmosphere)
      - I want the Kioto agreement to be fully effective right now
      - I want G.W.Bush to STFU and resign
      - I want a green-party president/prime minister to every industrial country right now

So, if you want to be a winner, and you see me giving an opininon on something, just take a side against me. And you'll be on the winning team.
I'm not a complete idiot: some parts are still missing.

I have honestly never kept count.

I'm a bit wary of entering a debate unless I've got something to add to it - even if it is just a little piece of humour.

I don't know about winning or losing debates but I am usually right in my positions when I take them. But then again I take very few cut and dried positions.

Oh the exception is that I win every debate against kidicious .

Or at least he did with Ben Kenobi, that was very entertaining.

I never lose. But I don't consider myself part of a "side". I'm my own person. My opinions are my own, and not simple rhetoric from any "side".

It's funny how many people who have posted in this thread claiming themselves as argument winners are people who are not concerned with being objective and who concede nothing in arguments even after they are clearly proved wrong...
