I wish both of you luck. My father is getting up there in age himself (he will be 79 this December, though his health is currently excellent *knock on wood*), so I feel for you.

won't post long it's 11:17 pm and it's been a very long day. Levels aren't dropping like they should and his dementia is getting considerably worse cause by the poison in his system. My stepmother really needs information of renal disease something that she can understand without alot of doctor ease....layman terms. the only website I know of is webmd. I use it for most stuff. You've probably heard of it.
there seem to be 2 varieties. I'll post links to both of them. One is acute renal failure brought on by a major event such as blood loss from major surgery. The other appears to be a slower type of kidney disease.
