I wonder if Edwards will be able to goad Cheney into blowing up...
Doubt it, but damn would it be fun to watch.

The debate starts at 9pm EST and runs for one hour and thirty minutes.

Just to make sure you have the right time, EST is GMT -5.

It is during Daylight Savings time both here and in Europe, so that shouldn't trouble you any.*

I predict the gloves will come off. Cheney and Edwards will be aggressive and tough. Both guys will attack the other very agressively.
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

I agree, though with Bremer and Rumsfeld's statements in the last two days or so, I think Edwards has a decent advantage now.

Hard to deny what your own people are saying, or rather, it is hard to get people to believe such denials.

Anyone knows which mod deleted those three threads in a row? It's not that I'm making a hit list or anything, it's just that I'm making a hit list.

They were deleted? After my lovely post about how the non-plussers couldn't afford a black flag (too pricey), and so they'd have to go with with a rusty flyswatter and a dirty dishrag?

                        Dang shame.

They were deleted. The thread, the thread about the thread, and the thread about the thread about the thread.

Funny how tons of spam are tolerated but dissent is not.

Come out you cowardly lackey mod who did it!

I think Cheney might get the better of Edwards, simply because like any stubborn mule, he won't be moved, while Edwards might be a good trial lawyer, but a "debate" like this is not the same.
