Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters--one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."

Moses died. So how can he be transfigured here, if all are to be unconscious until the day of Judgement?
he was resurrected right after his death

I don't remember the verses for why I think so (could look them up)

very questionable (expecially when it disagrees with other verses)

very easy to interpret that otherwise

and there are so many other versuses which go against the idea of purgatory
Yes, but the two are together, purgatory and the saints.

So far, all you have shown me is that it seems possible for some to be raised to heaven, and that not all are unconscious until the day of judgment.

Sweet! I get Moses and Jesus as my neighbours . I'll keep them awake with Cradle of Filth until the collapse of organised religion from fatigue .

                          • Expected result: 100% mainline to conservative christian/protestant.

Although I scored 99% match with Orthodox Quaker which is surprising.

The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams.
