Your posts drip and ooze with weakness and failure. You whine like a spoiled child. Asssumption is not necessary to take your measure.

Kid: What are you studying, for what purposes, and what level are you currently at?

Is it possible that your wife and child move someplace cheap (and possibly far away) while you move to some cheap student dorm?

I don't know how this thread got to be about me. Well actually I do, but it's not suppose to be. The conservatives can't find any other way to argue, or maybe they just don't want to lose.

Anyway. Thanks for the honest advice. I don't think they have dorms for children, but don't worry too much for me. I have some money, and something will work out soon I think. There are other people who aren't as lucky though. Some of them are lazy. Most of them are sick. Then there are those who are just victims. There the people conservatives want to let die off and then forget about.

I see. If I don't like being poor I'm either lazy or I'm a whiny moron. Whatever keeps your system going, huh?

Poverty is both a matter of personal and collective responsibility.

I personally think that our societies of plenty can afford to remove extreme poverty altogether within it (hence, I think it's the responsibility of society to pull someone out of extreme poverty).

And even for non-extreme poverty, society has to provide opportunities to climb the social ladder, opportunities to make money, and to reduce various costs of accidents in life.

For example, I consider it's society's role to reduce the costs of studying and of having children. Both of them are positive for society as a whole, and the weight should be partly (if not entirely) be bore by socitey.

It means you have expenses you might need to cut (your internet access for starters) work on your gambling habit. You being a whiny moron is completely independent of you being poor. Hell I'm poor but you don't see me making threads complaining about how the system has wronged me.

Let's look at it another way, Kid. What function of capitalism is responsible for me obtaining more financial success than you? Or, on the flip side, what function of capatilism is holding you back that didn't hold me back?

You're wrong on both accounts. I need an internet connection for school and I haven't gambled in over 5 years.

No that depends on what you think is moronic. Let's say that a bully is taking your lunch money. Is it moronic for me to confront the bully or keep my mouth shut? What do you think?

This isn't about me for one. For two, I already know your answer to this question. So you are still making the same assumption. So how is that looking at it another way?
