  • One would almost think that Kerry has joined with the anti-US Arab media in seeking to undermine any effort in Iraq towards democracy. There can be no other legitimate explanation for his attack on Allawi. Can there?

        :burst of laughter:

Ned, you are a GENIUS! You have by far the most imaginative trolls I've ever seen on 'Poly, and some of them rank among the funniest as well.

        • I was just listening to Rush. Apparently Kerry's attack on Allawi is topic #1 today. Everyone is agast at what Kerry and his campaign staff did last week.

I'm not the only one who thinks Kerry is intentionally trying to undermine our effort in Iraq.

          • Rush reports that Kerry's sister is now in Australian criticizing Howard for being part of the Coalition.

This is direct evidence that Kerry is trying to undermine the Coalition.

Kerry is a traitor once again.

Rush is even suggesting that Bush make Kerry's underming of our efforts in Iraq as topic #1 in this week's debate.

Well, the Rush is an idiot, cause Iraq is not a topic Bush should dwell too long about, given that the FACTS from Iraq do not point to the rose colored glass image Bush and Allawi point to.

                    • If Kerry and Kerry puppet Lackheart hadn't done such a diplomatic blunder, why the need for Uncle Joe Biden to come to the rescue?

                      Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A leading Democratic senator said on Sunday he assured interim Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi that U.S. support for him would continue if John Kerry were elected president.
Allawi, who paid a high-profile visit to the White House last week, responded: "Thank you, and I know it," said Sen. Joseph Biden, the ranking Democrat on the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Biden and other senators met with Allawi, who addressed Congress and the U.N. General Assembly during his trip.

In an interview on "Fox News Sunday," Biden angrily disputed assertions by the administration that Kerry's criticism of Bush policy in Iraq meant he would abandon the effort.

"I personally was authorized by Kerry in front of all my colleagues to say the first thing in a private meeting. I said, 'Mr. President, you know me.' And he said, 'Yes, I do.' I said, 'I guarantee you that John Kerry as president -- you will continue to have the full support of the United States of America in order to be able to establish a representative republic.' He said, 'Thank you, and I know it."'

At the White House on Thursday, President Bush said he and Allawi would "stay the course" in Iraq.

The fact that he's correct. Having lovey-dovey humanitarian progress in 3/4 of your country is nice, but it doesn't outweigh ever growing and increasingly active armed insurgencies in strategic cities which affect movement in and around your capital and which can strike at key oil pipelines as well.

None of that lovey-dovey **** matters if you can't control the ****ing country.

What rescue. Telling someone you don't buy the sunshine up the ass version of events and you know he has to put his current master's spin on things, but you'll still work with him when you're his master is "reassurance," not "rescue."

Do you think a man who has kept his hide working for Saddam Hussein and George Bush is so stupid as not to know how the system works, and politic his way into the next soverign's heart?
