Actually, I'm hearing that Quinn may become the starting QB in Chicago.

Gannon should retire. It ain't worth it for him to come back and NO ONE would blame him.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Stick a fork in them. I agree they are done. Grossman was looking good. The fans in Chicago must be wondering why their teams are so perenially cursed.http://tools.wikimedia.de/~gmaxwell/jorbis/JOrbisPlayer.php?path=John+Williams+The+Imperial+M arch+from+The+Empire+Strikes+Back.ogg&wiki=en

ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Grossman is now dangerously close to being hung with the dreaded "injury-prone" tag.
Chicago fans will now get the opportunity to learn whether it's the QB or the KC offensive system that works. (Oh boy...)

Yes... OH BOY...
Even if the Bears had sucked this year, it would have been a good learning experience for Grossman... now we don't even get that. And as you point out JR, Grossman may get that injury prone tag... and that's not good if you are a unproven QB.Keep on Civin'

Even if they were healthy they would suck. Gruden is a horrible evaluator of talent. Hell, I think he's overrated as a coach as well.
I'll agree he's not a good GM. He should be fired from that position.

what the hell are you talking about. He's an excellent coach. And their offense did improve the first year he coached the Bucs.
Yeah, by only 20 points. However, that was still less than Dungy's offense scored in 2000.
Points Scored:
2000: 388
2001: 324
Gruden comes in
2002: 346
2003: 301
Gruden is NOT that good of a coach. He's entirely overrated and has been handed talented teams. I'd take many other people over Jon Gruden.
Btw, the main number that fell during the 2002 Superbowl for Tampa was Points AGAINST! Which no one thought Dungy was lacking. If you gave Dungy the 2002 Buccs, he would have won as well.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Well, he's had two years to build a defense in Indy and has little to show for it. I think Dungy's overrated, too.
Funny, though. The contrast in styles between these two guys is extreme. The bottom line is, Gruden has won the Super Bowl, and that's what it's all about.
Dungy hasn't even won a confereence title. It's not like he hasn't had talent. But he hasn't been able to overcome other talented, well-coached teams -- the (pre-Martz) Rams in the NFC, the Pats in the AFC.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011
