If you disagree, name a worse team and why?

Baltimore. They got DESTROYED by the Browns. They have a good D, but the offense looks like crap.

      As for the Pack:

            That's pretty grim...

Green Bay looked pretty tough last night. Carolina knew that they were going to keep giving the ball to Green, and they still couldn't stop him.

Green is showing why he was considered the third best RB in the league...

Arizona still looks pretty bad, but they are good at take aways. I guess they figure it's their only chance.

I just don't get it. Are Chicago teams always cursed?

If you recall, I said NE would be weaker because the lost Ted Washington. CBS's Clark Judge agrees:

"The New England Patriots won't admit it, but they miss defensive tackle Ted Washington. I saw the Pats against Cincinnati in preseason and against Indianapolis in the season opener, and their defensive line was manhandled. Sure, Indianapolis center Jeff Saturday is one of the league's best at his position, but he dominated rookie Vince Wilfork and veteran Keith Traylor."

MRT, well, after so many years of championship caliber teams, it looks like neither Oakland nor SF will make the playoffs this year if the prognosticators are to be believed. But for 20+ years, a Bay Area team was in the hunt or champion football. Ditto baseball. I could only wish the Chicago teams (Bulls do not count) could have such a period at least once in my lifetime. The Bears did have a good run in the mid-80s, but that was it for me, a Chicago native.

Ned, tell me about it. Im a raiders fan and after the superbowl enima i was sure there wouldnt be another superbowl chance for the next 10 years. as for the niners, well they can go suck on a lemon.

as for chitown, my mom and dad lived there for almost a decade through the bears superbowl and they said that it was sad that they were so good that year and then didnt do jack ever again.

What is this? Grossman's very poor QB rating is better than Farve's?

Just proves why QB ratings aren't always a good judge

Week Two is here, and the Bears find themselves playing against their biggest rival. The oldest rivalry in Pro Sports... And as usual lately, the Bears should get slaughtered. At least if the Bears had beat Detroit, a loss against Green Bay wouldn't be so bad. But now, if the Bears go 0 - 2, it will be time to pray for the Cubs to make the play offs, because football is going to just suck for the rest of the year.

One can only hope... But I feel so confident of the Bears "on the road" chances this week, that in all the confidence pools I'm in, I picked the Packers, assigning 15 or 16 points.

                                GO BEARS!
