Who ever said I was? Though I guess if hating the Cowboys makes you a Skins' fan.. .

      Steven Jackson

For getting in the line up after Marshall Faulk, and Faulk was tearing it up too. Jackson fumbled on his first NFL carry, but the carry was about 20 yards. He's gonna be great.

            /me exhales mightily.

Seahawks star RB day-to-day with bruised right knee

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander has a bone bruise on his right knee but could play in next Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.

"It might be a week or two," coach Mike Holmgren said. "There's a chance he can play this week. We'll just have to see how it goes."

An MRI exam disclosed the injury, which earlier had been reported as a knee sprain. Alexander was hurt late in a 21-7 win at New Orleans in which he rushed for 135 yards on 28 carries. He ran for two touchdowns and caught a TD pass.

If Alexander can't play next week, Maurice Morris or Kerry Carter will step in.

"We hope he can play, but if he can't then we'll have to go to the next guy. I'd expect that man to play well, and that goes for any position on the team," Holmgren said.

While that does sound better... All I can remember was the talk about Prior on the Cubs... "don't worry, he will be ready for the start of the season... don't worry, he will be ready to start by May..." and he never did

              He wasn't ready till June...

I like both teams, so this game is hard for me .

Brett Farve is my favorite player, but I love Jake Delhomme and that D for their grittyness.

Packers recover a Carolina fumble early in the 3rd quarter, and Green makes 'em pay for it. Packers lead 17-7.

Well, just off the first game, mind you, the Bears look like the worst team in the NFL and Grossman looks like its worst quarterback.

If you disagree, name a worse team and why?

Favre to Green for the TD after another Carolina turnover. Packers on top 24-7. Starting to get ugly for the Panthers now.

                                What a game

                                The Packers O-Line was phenomenal.

I see good things in store for this season.
