Ming, I was pleasantly surprised by all that enthusiam shown by the Bears last Sunday. But it didn't translate into good play. Rather it seemed to translate into sloppiness, error, penalties and, eventually, hastily thrown balls deep into the end zone and into coverage. This team doesn't have a chance to win any games this year unless it cuts down on those kinds of mistakes.

The good news is, they can only get better.
As a Bears Fan, I too was pleased at much of what I saw. It's a shame the whole game turned on a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown. They out played the Lions and should have walked away with a victory.
At least now I think the Bears are headed in the right direction. While it might be a VERY LONG season, there is some hope again for the future.Keep on Civin'

Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

We really thought we would have a great team for a few years... it just never worked out that way.
The defense was good in later years, but not awesome as when Ryan was there. That defense in '84 and '85 was spectacular.http://tools.wikimedia.de/~gmaxwell/jorbis/JOrbisPlayer.php?path=John+Williams+The+Imperial+M arch+from+The+Empire+Strikes+Back.ogg&wiki=en
