There was some fun swimming today, but unfortunetly not a packed house (something that is becoming common in Athens unfortunetly.

I think her name was You.
Hmm, quite handy..all women should be called like that.
Great when you meet her a couple days after some party.
"Hi, remember me?"
"Hey........You"
"Oh great, you remembered my name..."
"Yeah, that's me baby...prince charming"
even better when married.
"Hey You!!!! cook me a burger, ok"
right, I'll get me coat...Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Women's Handball: Denmark-Korea 29 - 29.
After the first couple of matches, it looks like Denmark will go up against either China or Brazil in the quarters, and they'll likely face the Koreans again in the final.
Danish Iron Maidens will take the gold again to make it a triple.

US men's basketball beat Greece 77-71. Man, Greece must be upset .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I think the thing that is most strange for me is the masses of empty seats in most of the venues. What is going on? Lack of interest? Are the prices too high? In Atlanta you pretty much had to kill someone to pre-buy a ticket. We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

That's one of the big controversies, Spencer. Perhaps a thread should be started on that. It's ludicrous!“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

The explanation going around here is that it's greed. Travel agents haven't been able to sell package tours to Greece because of the insanely high prices on just about everything. It's usually just the opposite, but that changed abruptly leading up to the games. I hope they're happy that noone is attending.

That actually may make a good deal of sense. Gouging travel agents definetly can have a great effect on things. But it still doesn't look good. From what I've heard, the IOC is furious!“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
