Just let me say that I was surprised that Kerry's record in Vietnam was so checkered. As to his claim to be in Cambodia, it appears everything he said about this over the years is a lie.

The man appears to have no character, no integrity.

Does this qualify him to be a great president in the Nixon and Clinton mold -- a president that can do great things but who will eventually fail due to his lack of integrity?

Perhaps we shall see. But I sincerely hope we do not.

Bush lied repeteadly about his accomplishments (or lack thereof) as governor. He took credit for things that were passed over his veto. He gave state money to a church group that tortured children and removed state oversight from that same group. Dude's a major lying scumbag and his record plain sucks.

Even if Kerry did nothing, that's a step up from Bush.

I'm still voting Socialist. Hell, I'm gonna be an elector.

Che, I'm not so sure that Bush is a liar to the degree of Kerry, Nixon and Clinton. Regardless, I think that Nixon and Clinton were pretty good presidents. But that lack of integrity eventually caught up to them.

With Bush, I don't think he lacks integrity. I think he's a little overconfident, perhaps arogant.

That is one of the reasons he pisses people off.

It's hard to give a flying **** about anything else in Kerry's record, given that he has no sort of experience that would reflect on his ability to serve in an executive office. His legislative record is all we have to go on and it isn't very impressive.

Well, MtG, you've got a problem assuming Bush also lacks integrity. (But where is there evidence of this?) If I were you, I would sit this one out or vote Libertarian, Green or whatever strikes your fancy. Nader at least is personally honest, I think.
