Actually swift boat skippers were widely respected inspite of the war. I would prefer that someone was in charge however that did not call me and our fellow shipmates "rapists" and "dog killers" and insinuating (actually saying clearly) that we take pleasure in oppressing the poor villagers of Vietnam. Kerry himself admited he was exaggerating before the Senate when he made those accusations. Hey, even my wife who has been in the US a total of two months can see through Kerry. He will be exposed soon enough for the political opportunists, fraud that he is. If he is using Vietnam vets to back him then let him hear the whole gamut of opinions from vets.
