Kerry worse than Bush? You bet
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

Kerry's intelligent and actually had the balls to serve in a war as opposed to the current crop of neocon chickenhawks. So what if he gaffes a few; it's better than the scum-sucking, Vampiric neo-Templars that are dismantling everything once sacred in this country brick by brick.

His only problem is he needs to start standing up to bush's attacks; eg the 50-cent gas tax bull****, and expose him for what he is.

His gaffes aren't a problem, But do you know where he stands on any issue? it isn't that he flipflops so much as he hasn't really stated anything specific. I do not count gay marriage, abortion, or any other side show issue here either.

I was wondering if I'd have a spot to plant this...

                      John Kerry Must Go
Note to Democrats: it's not too late to draft someone—anyone—else
                      April 27th, 2004 11:45 AM

WASHINGTON, D.C.— With the air gushing out of John Kerry's balloon, it may be only a matter of time until political insiders in Washington face the dread reality that the junior senator from Massachusetts doesn't have what it takes to win and has got to go. As arrogant and out of it as the Democratic political establishment is, even these pols know the party's got to have someone to run against George Bush. They can't exactly expect the president to self-destruct into thin air.

With growing issues over his wealth (which makes fellow plutocrat Bush seem a charity case by comparison), the miasma over his medals and ribbons (or ribbons and medals), his uninspiring record in the Senate (yes war, no war), and wishy-washy efforts to mimic Bill Clinton's triangulation gimmickry (the protractor factor), Kerry sinks day by day. The pros all know that the candidate who starts each morning by having to explain himself is a goner.

What to do? Look for the Dem biggies, whoever they are these days, to sit down with the rich and arrogant presumptive nominee and try to persuade him to take a hike. Then they can return to business as usual—resurrecting John Edwards, who is still hanging around, or staging an open convention in Boston, or both.

If things proceed as they are, the dim-bulb Dem leaders are going to be very sorry they screwed Howard Dean.

Kerry needs more outspoken supporters like Bush has. That senator who spoke yesterday calling Cheney & Co "chickenhawks" was a good start, but it can't stop.

I saw that... it was the Senator from New Jersey right?

                          I'd vote for that guy.

It is not enough to merely state that there is a problem for Kerry, he really needs to give people a reason to get off of their fat lazy asses and vote for him, otherwise we see just the 1/2 and 1/2 stuff of people that vote on party lines only.

Lautenberg and speaking of which. The rightist conspiracy theorists are saying the oust Kerry movement is another Toricelli/Lautenberg manuever. Wherein the Dems have caused the Repubs to burn their warchest only to be bait and switched by bringing in a white knight challenger with no time or money to discredit him (ala Toricelli then Lautenberg at the 11th hour).

Regardless, McCain's response to Lautenberg I thought was the appropriate one.
