Who says I was just talking about that one question?
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)
Well, Isildur struck him down, but Sauron had been defeated once before when Numenor was swallowed up in the Valar's wrath after the forces of Ar-Pharazon (IIRC) landed in Valinor. So I'd go with the Valar...
I think Elendil got a crack at him before Isildur as well, but I don't remember the timeline exactly.

Brothers. Tar-Minyatur was Elwing, Elrond the half-Elven's brother, IIRC. Elwing chose to become a man and became Tar-Minayatur, the first king of Numenor. Elrond chose to be an Elf, obviously.
What are the three main divisions of Elvenkind?
Noldor, Teleri and Vanyar for the high elves. For elves in general, it's the high elves who went to Valinor, gray elves who went to Beleriand but didn't go to Valinor (like the elves of Doriath) and green elves like Legolas, I think.
By what name is Ereinion better known?
Hell if I know...

Nope. Ar-Pharazon takes him back in bondage to Numenor before any of those things happen. Sauron admits defeat without a sword being drawn once he sees the might of Ar-Pharazon's army.
And Isildur does not strike him down AFAIK. He is slain by Gil Galad and Elendil and Isildur cuts the ring off the defeated Sauron.
It's not clear how that fight goes although only Isildur, Cirdan and Elrond stand by. Gil Galad is killed by Sauron's fiery grasp.

Excellent

Almost right, but that's my fault. I forgot the Avari (unwilling).

Dammit. I had Ar-Pharazon written down at first, but then I remembered how Sauron corrupted him and ensured his destruction, so I changed my answer...
Still, not too bad.
