or
Je n'ai pas de crayon
(I always confuse "pen" and "pencil"; "Crayon" is the one that doesn't use ink)"I have been reading up on the universe and have come to the conclusion that the universe is a good thing." -- Dissident
"I never had the need to have a boner." -- Dissident

Actually I think that, as Spiffor claimed, people can no longer identify with the major parties and are showing their frustration by voting for extremes, on both sides. That result is maybe not so much a success of the far edges but a failure of the main parties."I have been reading up on the universe and have come to the conclusion that the universe is a good thing." -- Dissident
"I never had the need to have a boner." -- Dissident

Hmm...Our French teacher says that to say "dont" would be "ne verb pas". Example:
"Vous ne cherchez pas" - You don't look. Or some such.Eventis is the only refuge of the spammer. Join us now.

It's like your teacher says.
Je n'ai pas de stylo (stylo is pen Spiffor)
You wrote:
Je ne avoir un stylo pas
Your two mistakes are:
1) put the verb in the right clause (heh now my own english vocabulary is too poor to describe it)
Not "Avoir" but "ai"
2) And you should have put the "pas" after the verb just like your teacher said

Exactly. And in the sentence above, it should be:
"je ne avoir pas" (very crudely, to the point is incorrect).
"Avoir" in the first Person singular is "ai". That would give "Je ne ai pas" (still too crude to be good).
"ne" removes the mute E at the end of the word when followed by a vowel, and replaces it with an apostrophe. Result is:
"Je n'ai pas""I have been reading up on the universe and have come to the conclusion that the universe is a good thing." -- Dissident
"I never had the need to have a boner." -- Dissident
"I have never cut off my penis when I was upset over a girl." -- Dis

A little funny offtopic story: when I was giving my first exams in French, I got unbelievably nervous during the oral exams. So nervous in fact that I forgot nearly all the french words I knew!!! No joking.
Not wanting to let the interviewr think that I didn't know any more words in french and in a jerk motion since I was really frustrated I told her:
J'ai oublie mon repertoire de mots!!!
LOL... I was so nervous that not only had I forgotten most of the french words, I had also forgotten the word to describe it:" vocabulaire".
So I invented "repertoire de mots" to decribe it LOL
The result was that my interviwer laughed, I felt even more badly but then she actually encouraged me and everything went OK. She actually gave me a high mark - out of sheer pity and amusement no doubt

Je n'ai pas de stylo.
vs.
Je n'ai pas un stylo.
Aussi, un stylo en Anglais est << pen >> et un crayon est << pencil >>

That would be J'ai oublier mes leçs de grammaire français...
Unless you meant Je suis oublié de mes leçs de grammaire français, but I really doubt that.
