In this case, wouldn't Unitarian Universalism be the best one?

So if I melt your idol, I melt God?

god is omnipotent, but isn't heat-resistant.

True religion should be about self-improvement in the mental, emotional and if you like, spiritual sense. It shouldn't revolve around 'redeeming' the 'souls' of the 'heathen swine' around you.

An individual's 'salvation', 'redemption' or 'enlightment' is entirely up to them. While you can satisfy their curiosity and offer a small degree of friendly guidance if they ask it, ultimately, it is up to them to find their spiritual path. Whether that be under the wing of a 'god', 'gods' or any other type of 'supreme', omnipotent being; through quiet contemplation and meditation; or through secular pursuits, it is their decision, and their's alone.

To this end, I believe that there is no one true 'one-size-fits-all' type of faith. I am a Buddhist myself, but I made peace with the devout of all other religious (or anti-religious) belief systems. I find Buddhism to be the true faith for myself. I just acknowledge that it isn't that way for others, save for the like-minded individuals I might meet in my lifetime.

              Yes, Elok?

How can my church be the true church if it has only been around for 500 years?

The others, including mine, can only say we have a better doctrine.

No it doesn't. It split in the 1000s during the big Schism.

So what? The most ancient parts of the church went with us. The Eastern tradition was already well established long before Catholicism came into its own.
