I can tell you that going to an exciting Titans game does not even come close to the experience of going to an exciting Vols game. When 108,000 people start pounding on the stands and shouting at the top of their lungs you cannot hear yourself scream. Drake's Weekly Recap - Oct. 4
Well, it's early on a Sunday afternoon here in Japan and you know what that means; it's time for me to wistfully check the scores for this Saturday's slate of college football games. It was another great week, filled with more excitement and upsets than you'll ever find in a typical NFL schedule. God bless college football.
Anyway, here's my top 5 games of the week...
5. Auburn 28 - 21 Tennessee
Sorry Plato, but I enjoyed seeing this result.
4. Texas 24 - 20 Kansas State
I hate Texas, but I hate Kansas State even more.
3. Oklahoma 53 - 7 Iowa State
Iowa State is a bad team, to be sure, but this is still an impressive ass whipping dished out by my pick for the best team in the country. Contrast this with...
2. Iowa 30 - 27 Michigan
I guess if every team in the country loses two games, then Michigan will win the national title, eh Imran?

Nebraska 30 - 0 Troy State
Nebraska moves to 5-0 with a shutout of a decent Troy State squad. The Huskers have the best defense in the country and I'm loving it. All my prayers at Sumisaka-jinja must be paying off.

Baylor 42 - 30 Colorado
I hate the Buffs even more than I hate the Wildcats and this loss to the perennial doormats of the Big 12 just made my day. Nebraska has an easy road to the Big 12 North title this year. Hooray!
That's it for this week folks. See you next week when the Huskers go to Columbia to battle the dangerous Missouri Tigers. Oh, and there'll be some other games as well.
