Bull****... Dilfer is the most underrated passer in the game. He has a great arm, and a decent touch. Just because he played in a ****hole of Tampa for most of his career doesn't mean he is bad.

He is a better QB than either Fiedler or Griese. For one, say what you will, but he took a team that was floundering with Tony Banks (hovering at .500) and took them to a SuperBowl.

Yes... not sure if he's still the starter. Holmgren changes his mind every day, and Hasselback took some good steps late last year.

I saw Dilfer play plenty at Fresno State. It was tremendous here. He does have great potential, and Seattle should be better this year.

Dilfer's arm isn't that great. Even if it was, arm strength doesn't keep you from being the next Jeff George.

He's also fairly accurate. He's a good QB. All he needs is a team with an offense. So far Seattle is his best shot.

I can just picture you laughing in 1987 if I told you Tampa's Steve Young was a good passer as well .

It's going to interesting to see how St. Louis tries to bounce back.

Anyone have Warner high on their Fantasy Football wishlist?

If Steve Young had spent as many years failing in Tamba Bay as Dilfer with a defense as good as the one Dilfer had, I would laugh at you. Fortunately for me, the two situations aren't similar in the least.

Warner is a maybe, but we've got Marc Bulger waiting in the wings.

What does the defense have to do with offensive stats?

They are very similar. Both played on HORRIBLE Tampa offenses. Both were considered bad QBs because of the teams they played on. Dilfer had just as horrible an offensive line and wide recievers. In his last three years at Tampa, he had decent years even with those setbacks.

The NFC is going to come down to New England versus Atlanta.

                                Drake:

Dilfer's last three Tampa teams were 11-5 in 1999 (with Shawn King starting 6 games that year), 8-8 in 1998, and 10-6 in 1997. That's not bad at all. That doesn't seem like 'failing' with a good defense.
