What's wrong with expecting patients to take a bit of care over their own bodies for once. It's no use turning up to a doctor at 45 having ate yourself into a heart attack. Responsibility needs to be taken earlier for one's health. If doctor's guidelines are not adhered to, certain treatments should be restricted.

Wow! A health care system that finally gives doctors control over their patients' lives!!! Can I immigrate to the UK? Let's see, I'll have to pack my divine aura, can't forget the little lightening bolts either, oh, and I've absolutely got to find a first class Oracle.

And obviously doctors shouldn't be forced to give treatments they are ethically/morally opposed to, such as assisted suicide or abortion.

What about pharmacists and the morning after pill?

Should the government require the refusing physician to refer the patient to a doctor who will perform abortions?

What about it? If a pharmacist doesn't like the morning after pill, he shouldn't have to sell it, provided, of course, that his employer agrees. Pharmacies, like anyone else, shouldn't be forced to carry anything they don't want to carry. The market, of course, might have something to say, and they might go out of business, but that's their fault.

Certainly not, but again, if enough people decide to stop seeing a doctor because of this, the doctor might run into problems. Again, his fault.
