No problem. No, I will take your word for it. No need to prove to us that you can beat deity level. I'll add you to the ladder. Welcome!

In my humble opinion, this is a must-do if you want to climb the ladder. Some Civ1, 2, 3 players call this "ICS" or Infinite City Sleaze or something like that. One of the great things about CtP is that it cannot be infinite (even though some may still think it's sleazy ), because at the 40 city mark, under theocracy, you start receiving stiff penalties for the number of cities above this limit. Some players pump out less than 40 -- fast -- then go to war. It depends on the situation.

              • I agree!
(Now I know...too late..as I am WAY Behind the curve!!)

BUT..I will hang in there and make the best of it

So..I now can look Pete in the eyes and say I am playing on an "even" or somewhat even plaaaaying field

                Peace

                    Well done Math

IMHO, you both deserve a severe wet-noodle beating for letting the a.i. humiliate you

I'm inclined to agree, particularly in the case of Math, who could have taken out the Mongols in one turn. But I'll take the beating, as I am rather partial to having wet wriggly things slapping against my body

                              • Ricketyclik resigned our Challenge Game at Turn 243.

A good game, but I think I had better land at the beginning, found him, and then relentlessly attacked for about 140 turns. More of a slow grind than anything stunning that is for sure.

                                Good Game !!
