      • Challenge Game 60
        Hatschy vs. Mathemagician

i officially concede the game at turn 215.
my economy is stuck in the red numbers and Hatschy is already too far ahead in tech.

          • Birdman Conceded our Ladder Game at Turn 199.

It was a very good game. Both of us were behind the leading AI by at least 2XPG the whole game. I think I won only because Birdy had more trouble with those AI than I did. He held some very good river land for a long time. That really boxed me in good. But I was able to attack the backside of that land with some SOLs. That cut of his support enough for me to get it back. After that it went pretty easy.

            GOOD Game Bird.

That was also probably the game with the most names

              • It says in the rules that you may challenge any player up to three slots above your current position. Is that restriction still in effect quinns?

                • I think "one" can challenge "anybody" - but "anybody" might deny if challenged by "one" standing too low on the ladder?!

                  • That is right, Birdman. Thanks for clarifying. One may challenge anyone, but if the challenged player is three or less positions above the challenger, then that challenged player is obliged to play.

                      • So does that mean I have to take all and every challenge that meets that rule? Or is one game, challenge enough to keep me afloat?

                        Or do we?

Yes, one game is enough. That would meet your obligation. More than one challenge from someone that is one, two, or three below you is rare, though.
