Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Stack attacks are highly sensitive to timing and coordination. Suppose Imperio and Templars coordinate together against a stack of ours - first both teams attack with maces to hit high-strength defenders, then both teams attack with flankers and we lose our catapults. We shouldn't fall victim to that sort of abuse, and we shouldn't have to consider interlocking scenarios like "if Imperio kills this pike, then the Templar worker can build this road, then the Imperio HA can attack here..." etc.
I believe the intent of the rule is to simulate a sequential-turns game (no double moves) inside of a simultaneous game (to allow teams to continually access the game and discuss.) We should keep the wars sequential, Templars and Imperio should move in a set order.
T-Hawk - well put. Do you want to respond to Krill it he main forum?

We could suggest it, but Imperio and Templars gain no advantage in policing their own double-movements against each other. We'd have to watch them like hawks. T-Hawks.
I'd suggest splitting the turn 16/16/16 hours. When the turn ticks over, I want to be able to log in and suggest moves for sunrise and after he moves suggest other things. None of this is possible if the first person to log in has to make all the moves and hit enter.
First, I agree with T-Hawk that RB definitely feels it is in our interest to have a fixed order, but also feels it is in the spirit of this game. The double move rule suggests wars weren't intended to simulate MP civ.
So I would propose this:
1) RB has the first 16 hours of the turn to make moves. We have the full 16 hours, the other teams cannot make any moves during this time. They can of course conduct trades, alter builds, civics, etc. This is a concession on our part because we would normally have up to 24 hours. Of course we have been playing quicker, but things are a lot more complicated now.
2) The Order for the other two teams should be fixed for the remainder of the war. Templars->Imperio is probably most fair based on the order they've been finishing their turns.
3) 16 hours/16 hours is a workable arrangement, but RB has no objection to the allied teams ending their turn early and then allowing their ally to play. As long as the movement rules remain in effect. If the teams abuse this privilege we can always go back to 16/16/16.
@Sooooo - I was just saying how we are OK with Templars and Imperio having 32 hours combined to play as long as they play in a consistent order. But that if they don't like such a plan for some reason the 16 hours RB, 16 hours Templar, 16 hours Imperio is also fine for us. I'm just trying to allow them a little flexibility.
EDIT: IN GAME NOW, I WILL PLAY RIGHT AFTER THE TURN TICKS OVER AND THEN REPORT, BUT NOT END TURN.
Krill - A ruling on our movement proposal would be cool when you can think it over. Unfortunately after I log out the existing rules will allow Imperio and Templars to move, and they may do so before we clarify the turn order.
Sunrise - what are you planning to do when you log in for the new turn?
