And here's another unit; a more accurate Brandenburg infantry (the hat and ammo stuff was wrong, I think. Boy, how nitpicky can I get? )

I would go for some sort of generic (for the nation in question) garrison/militia when in doubt, for both the Turks and the Swedes. Regular infantry seems more fitting for either well defended areas or field armies, but not "AI city #15" if that makes sense.
If the uniforms were similar in color, then I would just make sure the horses are not, or something else that would highlight a difference. Confusion over color similarity is far less likely to give grief in Civ than real life, though if an enemy's color looks like an ally's...
Hopefully not too nitpicky to finish this, but the graphics are so beautiful. Shame that such good looking units may have to be destroyed for the greater glory of Poland. : )

Your mods look amazing. This is going to be one of the most colourful period dramas yet

I also like your graphics.
How long have we to wait until the first playtest?

Well, I've given the Swedes and Turks their garrison units, and plan on tackling the "Mobilize Army" units that should happen every spring/summer or so.
Also, would anyone know where to find references to Moldavian and Wallachian infantry of the 17th century? The Ghost of the Disco is ... your mastermind, your mastermind!

Well, I did find a reference to Moldavian infantry - from the fourteenth century. Not exactly what I had in mind, but maybe I can work with it.
Need to work some more, get events file(s) worked out, units, that sort of thing. But, for your enjoyment, here's a pic of Sobieski at Vienna (it looks like it was done by a contemporary source, forgot where I got it from) from which I derived my King Sobieski graphic:The Ghost of the Disco is ... your mastermind, your mastermind!

Well, actually it's more Baroque-era Poland (Medieval Poland would be more, say, the Battle of Grunwald and that era) but still...The Ghost of the Disco is ... your mastermind, your mastermind!

It will be out when it's out.
Seriously, I don't have a release date for it. But I am working on it. (Haven't been that much lately, but hope to pick up the pace today.
Recently I installed the "Fire and Sword" mod for Rome: Total War (Barbarian Invasion, to be exact) and I think I've finally got some good references methinks for the Wallachian and Moldavian infantry.
Too bad I don't know a word of Russian, and they haven't gotten around to releasing the English version of the mod yet...The Ghost of the Disco is ... your mastermind, your mastermind!
