Another trick that worked in the alpha test — seems there are some U-Boats prowling off Matruh! Either that or they're up the Nile!

    [Edit]Couldn't resist this one!

Btw, anyone ever read this one? Not high literature, but it's informative and entertaining to historical nuts.

Not wanting to seem pedantic, but shouldn't 'sealanes' be two words? (eg, 'sea lanes'). The same may also apply to 'troopship'.

Incidently, if that was my great-great-uncle he would have used his bayonet on the camel.

        • Thank you Mr. D__g of the Camel-stabbing D__g's.

Please do continue the pedantics. However, I may use 'transport' instead. Who knows you might even spot my novel adjective, 'devasting'.

Btw1, is "Sealift" one or two words? Is its use in WWI anachronistic?

Btw2, I got ahold of a copy of "Military Operations: Egypt and Palestine, Pt 1." It's not the companion piece to "The Advance of the EEF", but it complements it well. Between the two, I can finally piece together a pretty comprehensive version of that OOB we discussed a while back.

I'd use two words. However, I think that it might be a post-1939 term. I've got no idea what the WW1 phrase would have been though - 'embark' perhaps? (eg, as in 'embark the 1st Australian Division for Galipoli?').

              • 915%! That's like turning the volume on your guitar up to 11.

This all looks great Boco. I'd keep the description of DLG as an 'ASS' BTW.

                • Now there's a handicap. Increase the decibel level of your soundtrack according to your score!

                  • Rats! Messed up @CIVILIZE2 and @LEADERS2. Hope I can hex it.

Never noticed until I tested the Negotiate Clear action triggered by the capture of Aleppo. Good news is that the Turks are eager for peace.

                    • Midway through a new alpha test. So far, so good.

It's July, 1917. The Arab revolt has survived it's first tenuous year, and the various tribes are beginning to contribute irregulars. Here on the Tribal Map (Map1), the Billi and Juheina tribes are raising Bedouins for the revolt. Within the limits of tribal boundaries, these can jump into cities (Wejh, Umm Lejj, Yanbo, Jeida) of the main map (Map0).
