Now now Curt, lets not start up the old debate on whether a swallow can carry a coconut with its feet or now. And while we're at it lets keep the "Your mother was a hamster" insults to a minimum.

If you must do some of the others, I'll certainly not turn 'em down, but Bebro's graphics are very good for barbarians, etc.
OK Phenix, nearly done. The Venetian with shield, a Seljuk Turk, a Cuman and the feudal horse I did before. I tried to make the latter 11th Century in apearance as opposed to the late 12th/early 13th century knights as I was guessing that he is an earlier unit. If this isn't the case, and you want him dressed in the same style as the other knights, then let me know.

What's the civ colour for the Fatamids, so I can draw a shield (my guess is green)?

The peasant is work in progress as are some Vikings without horned helmets Vikings didn't have horned helmets. Ever. That Tony Curtis / Kirk Douglas film has a lot to answer for These will be completed Today.

The assassin is a new one since the last units file you sent. Is he Western, Middle-Eastern or generic?

Kirk Douglas wore horns in Spartacus?

Vikings didn't have horned helmets. Ever.
I never realized that. That's some misconception!

representations of Norse Gods in Scandinavian art showed them with winged helmets, which is where the 'horned' helmets come from. The Vikings themselves wore the same type of helmet as everybody else at the time: the conical Spangenhelm (without horns )

                Here they are:

                  What? No horn-ed helmets?!?!?

                  Well, Ok.

But I really had my heart set on those horned helms.

I know that if I was a viking, I'd want horns on MY helm.

If your going to put in Curts line then you have to put in this line.... quite possibly the greatest French insult of all time.

"Your mother was a hamster. and your father smelt of elderberries"

                    (Even more Python)

Anyways, we've gotten quite a good look at the units up until now Exile, do you have anything to show us in regards to city styles and icons? Just a sneak peak maybe?

                              • What kind of techs are researchable I wonder?

This era was not strictly one of discovery, but it will be nice to get those monks and wise men doing something!

1870 had an amazing tech spread, and knowing Exile's attention to detail in this regard:

I have high hopes for this scenario!
