  • Infamy! Treachery! Treason! Heresy! Murder!

So it seems that Tawantin Suyu must not only fight for her very life alone having been deserted by her allies but must also defend herself against those who she relied upon to stand solid within her own lands. My beloved Father is murdered – torn to shreds by a mob of cowards who would not serve in her army. The wave of destruction that sweeps Tawantin Suyu is horrific but it will not bring the rightful government down. I, Inca Roca, do swear this upon the blood of my Father!

I admit, without shame, that I wept upon hearing of these terrible events in the capital. I wept for my Father and for my nation. Imagine then my feelings upon learning that the leader of this gang of thugs was the dearest friend of my childhood Yahuar Huacac. We were as brothers, he and I, and for him to be shown as a traitor and murderer was close to heartbreaking.

I will deal with these vermin after the first business of saving the land from the tyrannical invaders from England. I have been forced to move the Government to Machu Picchu but it is closer to the war in any event. Hatun Apu Atapulca now commands another 200,000 brave Quechua soldiers who will fight for every inch of Tawantin Suyu that the English seek to seize and turn into yet another colony in their quest for World domination.

    • Theodosius Laughed

The messenger brought to Theodosius the copy of the proclamation of Fed'az which had been circulating widely (though never received officially in Constantinople). He worried what Theodosius would make of it.

Taking the message, Theodosius began to read, his brow furrowing, the court tensed ...

... and then he began to laugh. A full-belly laugh echoing down the halls, a noise that had rarely been heard since the ill-fated wars between our friends to the south.

Tears rolling down his cheeks, he muttered:

"Fed'az, dear desparate Fed'az. What a wonderful tapestry of self-pitying lies you weave! Where has the spirit of Hastog gone? Which the world had grown to love. Your ancestors will be spinning in their graves hearing this pitiful excuse for Hastogianism. When Persia reeps what is has sown, when it receives what it delivered to others, do you abandon all your beliefs so easily? Perhaps the truth is that the spirit of Hastog failed in the gurus of Persian, and that spirit passed to the Russians, and that is why your cities are falling, the holy places turning to Russian guardianship, and you come out with this pathetic drivel.

      The facts are:
      1. Persia forced Byzantium to lose the city of Rhodes, and you threatened to destroy more Byzantine cities. You think that we would have forgotten that? You are suprised that Byzantium takes some pleasure at your fall?

      2. You create a make-believe world when you talk of Byzantium switching sides and dipict your propoganda with pictures of knives! We talk with you; we talk with the Russians. You traded with us throughout the great war, we are currently trading with you and the Russians. Big deal!

      3. You simply lie when you say that you refused to accept Byzantine holdings on Hascon. You actually agreed! It was you who came to us wanting help against the Russians! You are just bitter than I didn't listen to your pathetic whinning and allowed my people to proceed with a straight-forward technological exchange with my neighbours the Russians. If that worries you so much, God help you in the future.

The urban diplomat, took his heart into his hands and stepped up; "But sire, might this rant of Fed'az' poison relationships with the Russians and others?"

Theodosius shrugged. "It might. That is clearly its intention. Fed'az is not really speaking to us. After failing to get us to invade Russia, he wants to spread to the Russian mind the possibility that we might invade, so as to distact the Russians from destroying him. If Byzantine armies are not invading Russia, his next best aim is to make the Russians think I might. Its just another aspect of his desparation. "

      "But will people believe him?"

"Fools will, but the wise know the Persians of old. They know the true history; they know what Persia is like. I am content that the wise rulers of this world will see the truth".

      • To our Korean and Byzantine friends:

Please do send your observers to our eastern lands as soon as possible. We ask you to see if we have any of our armies in Incan lands.

It seems the Incan cowards have nothing left, but only to throw helpless lies towards us.

Please do come and tell the world if we have an invading army in Inca.

Poor people, greed pushed them to the extreme. They came for our city of Hastings. Now a whole Incan nation ashamed due to its failure and failed military invasion, switched to the one thing it has left, lies and cries. Such a desperation.....

        Thank you.

              latest warships.

The Caravel class: Small maneuverable ships able to travel long distances at great
speed. Ideal ships for trade and scouting they where equipped with the latest in
              ship-to-ship weaponry.

The East Indiaman class: Much smaller then the Persia Galleons yet what they lacked in
size they made up in with power and speed. Do to its size the East Indiaman was able to
travel at much faster rates of speed even when filled to full capacity. Though mainly
used as a transport ship the East Indiaman was considered to be one of the more
powerful ships of its kind with superior weaponry that could easily sink even the biggest
              Galleon.

Kane was pleased in these two mew war ships and ordered every coastal city to begin
working on a fleet of these ships. He encouraged his scientist to gear there work more to
find ways to improve on these already powerful ships.

                • In Hastograd the armies of Dominika recovered while celebrating and looting. Many went to pray at the Shrine to Hastog, the only building left standing in the city. Meanwhilst Dominika had her elite guard marching west across the river to scout out the opposition forces. The Persian landscape was dotted with Villages and towns, rich and wealthy, undefended. Plunder was sent back by the cartload. The gold gained from ravaging the Persian river valley was received by the High Priestess Roza at Hastograd. In addition her political savvy had arranged for more wealth sent from Moscow. The people of Hastograd needed to know that with Russian rule a great future awaited, and the massive influx of wealth would soon put the smiths, scribes and peasants to work. While the army pillaged the entire city was in disorder, but soon order would be restored and the restored Russian rule would see Hastograd flourish.

In particular there was one detail that Roza Pahlavinova was working on. She had horses and metals sent from Novgorod, seastained scrolls from Moscow, written in Byzantine, and a small army of young men from the farmlands. The war progressed slowly, every day seemed like a year, but Roza was a patient woman. She sent messengers to ride hard and fast to the Royal Explorer Outriders who were scouting the frontlines to return. These skilled Horsemen would soon find their expertise invaluable to the Russian war effort. As the smiths hammered out armor plating, the farmboys took care of the horses, Roza and Pavel Murad-ib himself labored over the scrolls from Byzantium. His horsemanship was well known, as was his skill with a spear. Now he was working fervently to adapt his knowledge to practical use. Shock cavalry, an extremely expensive military force developed and perfected by the Byzantine Equestrian Marines would now be adapted to Russo-Persian conditions. Only the wealthiest of nobles could afford the vast costs incurred by paying for horses, armor and servants to train and maintain Knights. In addition to the gold coffers arriving from Moscow, stamped with a foreign mark, a number of books and scrolls followed. Roza read and re-read them, noting matters of importance, discarding articles of disinterest. When they had finished they had a declaration, a working knowledge of shock cavalry battle tactics and the means to field them. The Russian Knighthood was born.

                  • The Mali High Priest of Sha'Tao (Sun Dak) boarded a boat and set sail for Friendship City to discuss talks with his highness Pharaoh Ramesses. After many days at sea, the high priest came upon Friendship City admiring it's architecture and growth over time. The last maps showed Friendship City as barely more than a village and under Byzantine rule the last time ships sailed that way.

Sun Dak was met in the city square by Pharaoh Ramesses most trusted guards and assistants for escort to the palace of the pharaoh.

                      From King Kaliph of India

We are saddened to hear what happened with your father and saddened to see what is happening in your country.
                      This must be ended!
Our nations were always friends even if our communications were not quite developed and by now you are part to the Taoist community. We can't just stand and watch taoist citizens suffering.
Murder, treachery, whatever led to this war it must be clear now that it leads only to destruction.
I hope You are a wise ruler and realize that for the sake of your people's future peace must be made. I know it's hard.. there are wounds at both sides, but it will get only worse...
As I've said before we can't let this continue any longer. We came to help you bring peace, but you must accept our help and do what must be done.
This is what we offer: If you are willing to lay down your arms and announce peace then India will stand by your side to ensure no Incan land is taken by England.
This must be done within 5 cycles. If it's not then we will have to conclude that you are not seeking your people's best interest...

I support your peace endeavours with the Inca. Let it be noted that the Inca haven't once approached us with any attempts to discuss peace terms. Of course as the one to declare, invade and break a none aggression pact Inca needs to step forward and offer a peace treaty.

Also currently there isn't a single English soldier in Inca lands. We do understand fully the Incan wanting to portray us like the Invaders and them being the poor victims. Sadly they are doing a very poor job. International observers are near Hastings and they can report the reality.

I can only currently report the cowardly attempts by the Inca to use hit and run tactics against our population near the borders.

                            • Ramesses and Sun Dak sat together in the meeting room of his beach Palace in Friendship City. It was a beautiful day, a refreshing sea breeze wafting through the palm trees, birds twittering and the sound of modest waves lapping onto the shore.

Their talk was easy and friendly. Ramesses found himself wondering why his father had never really built any relations with these proud black people. Yes, they were strong in their words, clear and concise, perhaps a bit too direct by Egyptian standards. But who was to say the Egyptian standards were better? Ramesses enjoyed Sun Dak's straightforward sentences, all uttered with a smile, and with rhythm and melody in his voice, a delightful accent to listen to.

Together they sampled Egyptian delicacies, laughed about other nations affairs, traded stories about their life as leaders. As the day moved on, details surrounding the handover of Egyptian property on Osirisia, the name given to the island by Hor-Aha, were discussed. Sun Dak offered 2 workers and 1 settler, and gold. The amount of gold was not yet clear, as Sun Dak would have to consult with his treasurers upon his return. As they spoke, the Mali-men who would work for Egypt were giving their details to the Egyptian officials outside.

The moment the men would arrive on Osirisa, control of the city currently known as Pi-Ramesses would be handed over to the Mali. It was a great day for Egypt and Mali. Ramesses felt he had made a new friend.

                              • The World speaks to the wrong man! I, Yahuar Huacac, am only just leader now of New Land of Peru. Where once was a protest against injustice and cruelty there is now an avalanche of anger against the old decadent regime that has led Quechua people to the verge of destruction.

Listen to the lies of Inca Roca if you wish. He was indeed a dear friend of my child years but he has grown more like his father with each of his years. He holds up in one city alone and that is because I will not order the army against him. With mighty England but a short step away I will not be the leader of a full civil war that could see us gutted like a fish from the sea.

English, you speak nonsense. You speak of internal Quechua matters as though they are addressed to you. In one thing alone I do know Inca Roca to have been true. Capac Yupanqui did offer cease-fire, I have seen the letters, but the offer was not even rejected, it was ignored.

King Kaliph you are a kind man. I thank you for your offer of support to my nation both in the search for peace and, if that is rejected once more, in defence of our lands. I seek peace and ridding the nation of despot leaders but if England will not accept an honourable settlement then I must join with Inca Roca in a last stand alone against a nation more three times the size of us. It is a sad way but I will not betray Quechua whether they call Wiraqocha or Tao as God or themselves Tawantin Suyu or Peruvian. They are all Quechua!

                                Yahuar Huacac,
