You go to the gamespy lobby by selecting "Multiplayer" and then "Internet" in the game.
You have to assign for a name/password.

Can you connect to Zoid's game: zoid.game-host.org:2059 instead of plomp.eu:2062 (no password, don't use DoC account!)
Just see if you can connect, don't pick a civ or something.

Perhaps your port 2062 has been closed/blocked for some reason.

I'm rebooting my server now, perhaps that helps.

edit: the server is not coming up, I can't connect to it through VNC either. I'm not at home so we have to wait till my wife is home again and can watch the server. Takes most probably 1 - 1.5h. I'm sorry.

Unfortunately the server won't boot at all, my wife told me. There's some error message.
I hope I can fix it when I'm home again, but that will take 5-7 hours.

I can tell you what happened:
imperalistic : fast settlers production
creative: fast border pops in new cities

give or take some luck and player skill

Good luck with rebooting the server. I do need to play this turn, won't explain why publicly if thats ok - can you check I have been able to before the turn flips.

I'm working on it right now.
I can get the server started with a CD-start, now I'm trying to give it a normal start.
I'll keep an eye on the turn and on you. Expect it to be online within 30 minutes from now.

Either b/c I fixed it, or b/c I just keep it running after a CD start and decided to fix the issue later.

I'll bring it down again later tonight (within next 7 hours) to fix it permanently. (or destroy it permanently, now worries, there are backups )
