It is not charity, it allows you to trade your tech rights.

    And its not complicated.

It adds a bit of dept to diplomacy since you can trade your right to trade tech, this will help the countries which haven't made many tech trades yet. It will also allow the ones that have run out of tech trades the opportunity to buy more of them.

So new systems wouldn't change anything for me. I have already roughly finilized my last two tech deals.
Actualy it would you could gain more tech rights, by helping smaller countries that havent traded yet.

        What do we do?

Now that US players have daytime savings that means for us starting 1hr later and finishing at 4am.

As deity suggested do people want to start 1hr earlier to make up for this late start for US players?

That will mean US start midnight

That means EU players need to wake up at 5am

Aussies start (Deity 3pm) and (Trev and Marcus 2:30pm)

I’ve already spoke to America and Russia the late start hr 1am is very hard on them (I presume Carpathia as well)

SO say what you think – BUT REMEMBER SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE A COMROMISE HERE
I can't play one hour earlier, its that simple.
I can play 20 min earlier, no more.

BTW Russia got a sub for the late gaem, and the rest of you seemed to be able to play last time...

Well that was already a compromise right there - but you do not really expect 4 players to sit around and wait to play civ at 1am till 4am!

Worse case is that we have 2hr sessions for a couple of weeks until the rest go into daytime saving. We start as we have been starting at reg time for Aussies and EU ppl - but we play till 3am US which is a total of 2hrs.

If we do not come with a new time plan for tomorrow i will host the game 15mins earlier so maybe we get 2:15mins game time.

Its hard to find a solution to this issue when only 2-3 ppl are saying something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

            • I am flexible check with America, Russia and Carpathia - If they are ok playing 1am-4am we have no problem!

              • No no no. We must have full sessions.

Ok, I will compromise some more 30 min earlier.
I'm sure the other Euros can do the same.

The three Americans who don't have a late game sub probably can play 30 min later right?

Come on it is a reasonable compromise...

                • Everyone must speak!

Someone send a nagging mail. I don't want to end up wait for someone 30 min because they don0t know about the change.

Also everyone must be there 10 min before game start sharp. We will start exactly on time. Also Inca should host 20 min before that (so the game should be up a full 30 min before the game begins).

People should work for what they get, regardless of what it is.

I also never said I was Christian. :P

                          • BTW With the voting, I thought it was not just stories but achievements as well?

It's just that in session One we agreed that at that stage it was mostly based on stories. Am I correct?

                            • And by achievements I don't mean objective points but proper in game achievements that other civs wish to acknowledge.

                                Three categories:

                                - Stories
                                - Diplomacy
                                - Military Acheivement

Vote for the top three civs, in order, that fit each category. Every week.
