The 10 tech rule has resulted in slow starters getting behind a staying behind, this may be partially their own play leading to this, maybe the starting region was the cause, it seems 1 half of continent doing well, the other poorly.
Having said that, I am not in favour of mid game changes to rules, however modifications to the 10 tech rules may be in order for another diplo.

True, but we don't want a broken HOTW12. The rules proposed are compatible, and would not have changed strategy had they been in place since the begining.

Also the Voucher system will be good for all players since it is conductive towards diplomacy.

Just wanted to give a heads up, don't think I'm going to be there tonight. I've been laid out with the flu the past day or so and no sign of it letting up, I spoke with Inca, and he and I are both trying to get a hold of Nols to see if she can do the full session for me. Should be back next week when the illness fades. :/

Incas are hosting

We start 30 min early, as a compromise for the USAians

Everyone must be there and logged on in their MSN accounts 10 min before that.

The game must be up 30 min before start.

Within 24 hours of the game you must vote on the diplomacy, story, and military accomplishments of the session we played last sunday. We shall vote on tonights session in a little over one week, to give people time to come up with stories.

If everyone else wants the voucher I won't block the consensus. I still don't much think it'll help the situation.
