    • I have to write up an apology, I was a bit testy this morning before the game. I only got about three hours sleep, so I was frustrated that people didn’t show up and that the game wasn’t up. Because of that we lost 30 min of game time.

I’d also like to apologies for being really slow with the turns today. I was fighting a war and doing a lot of diplo, but my head was just not clear. A slight cold and sleep deprivation really got to me. I was taking way too much time, and even with that time I made some silly mistakes, that could have easily cost me a lot. I will try to get enough sleep before next weeks session. Once again I’m real sorry.

We did 42 turns this session. Which session did we play anyway 5, 6? Don’t forget to vote about the stories, diplomacy and military achievements of the previous session. You still have 24 hours to do that.

      VOTE!

      @America: Good idea.

        • For March 8 - 15?

I've just mailed the vote. BTW Which session was that? I missed a few ones was it the 4 or 5, counting the sessions when we didn't play?

          • An amazing session, yes.

Did everyone follow the several pieces of incredible strategy by several players?

I'm sure it will play out in the story posts so make sure you read it all.

I think for the first time in a diplo game a super power was bested by a very clever so-called 'backward' (tech wise) civ. And there is much more to this. And lessons to be learned by other behind civs - see America's post some while back about the things to think about - looking for strategic weaknesses in big civs etc etc.

Well done to all sides involved.

              • Big for France and his boldness!

Have forgotten how exciting is to wage war and negotiate peace deals!

                • Everyone vote.

And post here to let us know if you've voted (both for last week's session and this one).

And tell me if you've ever made a tech trade with me.

                  • I'm back.

Sorry for the last min bailout on the game.

I was in bed ALL day, vomiting and shaking. I set my alarm for gametime, but when I got up I was still very sick. Notice how brief my last post was? I threw up roughly 30 seconds after writing it.

At this point I am almost afraid to see my civs condition, but I do plan on staying in the game. If someone could send me a save I can go from there.

Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.

I consider last weekends session to be Session 7.
Not sure if that's right though.

                          • That is odd. I voted on the first two sessions.

BTW 4 hours of diplomatic chat can wear a person down.
