I have been able to get in the game OK, and have been in contact with Nols. No indication on the number of tech trades remaining. Oz - flip a coin between 4 or 5 remaining.

I flipped a coin. Best out of 5. Heads took it. So... 4 remaining.

While we're at it.... flip a coin for whether I have 1 or 0 trades left.

It is a long time, but the Ottomans are owed one tech from Holland I believe and have probably 3 trades left as well.

I thought you said you weren't interested in pitboss. But it'd be great if you finished up the game.

I ended the turn and it immediately went OOS

And I just did a whole stack of microing. HELP!!

The game is still running fine. My connection can sometimes get a little flakey (stupid contention ratios), but with no timer to worry about, you can always try again later on.

The turn ticked over fine, and you can still reapply your 'microing' whilst you wait for everyone else to turn.

It may be prudent to honour the old deals before negotiating new ones.

I pointed this out since I wanted to avoid meddling in the new players affiairs because of unfinished buissnes, like I did in new Rome's.

I do expect the players to honor the deal since it would be unrealistic for a civ to just give a country they aren't allied with a city and pay them gold for it.

Also I would just hate to have to play HOTW12 for 2 weeks just to take the city and all of Alaska by force.

BTW You guys are already turning? Is the AI handling my old civ? I hate to be a party pooper but you know how France has a lot of overseas colonies that the AI might turn into independant states...

A tech trade that was agreed on and that France payed for may or may not have been completed. I'll ask the appropriate civ if it has done as agreed....

My current ruler if I remember right is Napoleon, who is now resigning in favour of restored representation.

Also I will provide a few short instructions to my sub in my PM box.

BTW Instructions for the new player:

1. Keep the civics, I think representation especially is very very valuable for a nation with corporations who is behind in the tech race. Organized religion is still needed for getting your infrastructure online. Also the period of anarchy projected is far too long and not worh it.

2. A source of Iron in Holland is yours due to an ancient agreement concerning the border

3. A tech trade may or may not have been made, deal with this however you wish, you will see what I'm talking about by checking the PM outbox

4. Accept the city the Russians will be giving you, the city is basically yours and since it is in New France its upkeep costs are not that high (Versailles on that continent).

5. Trust no one

6. Help Mali

7.There is room for one more marginal city in metropolitan france, I think I placed a fort or unit stack near it to reming me of it.

Hey guys what if we impliment a policy at this point to help out the new players of weak civs? Lets say the two bottom civs, if there has been a change of players have 5 vouchers by default.

Deity just advanced the turn for the first time. He had been holding it till now. There is no turn timer so the game will not advance until all players have done their turn. So the AI will not play France's turn.
