    It most likely won't work for random historical events, but you should be able to play historical and open modes.

        • Install of rtw patch

          Hi Dale,

          Great Job on RTW

          How should the add-on patch be installed

          a) onto of the “The Road to War” folder

          b) inside the rtw folder such as “The Road to War/RTW Add on Patch 1”

          c) in the mod folder alongside standard bts “The Road to War” folder

          d) Copy the standard RTW folder rename as “RTW patch 1” and then install inside this, therefore having both the standard and the enhanced version

          The forum indictes option (a), option (b) seems to load but may fail; (d) seems the most flexible.

          Please clarify

          PS: Why cant the Germans have the choice to keep on producing Panzers instead of Tigers? The movement seems to outweigh the increased firepower!

            A quick summary for all:
            1. The new add-on version is uploading now and will be available tomorrow. Install will be very simple.
            2. No nation can keep building medium tanks after heavy tanks are discovered.

            • Beta 3 (full version) is NOW AVAILABLE!

              Before installing delete the entire Road to War folder from ..\Beyond the Sword\Mods\

              The installer is the full version.

                    Enjoying 3.0, but I think the Marine/paratrooper thing causes an imbalane. With a '36 start you can build those units very early, and for quite some time they are more powerful and cheaper than regular infantry. Probably need to tweak cost or availability.

                      It would be more helpfull to Dale, if you also gave the following info:

                      Scenario played - Europe or Pacific. Also the difficulty level you play.

                              • I would suggest changing the Civ Adjective for USSR to "Soviet" rather than using "Russian".
