Lol! We are actually arguing on whether civ 3 can compare to civ4 (graphics wise)?

First of all, civ3 has that very "smooth" feel to it, eg: the leader heads on civ 3 (if looked at closer) actually move more "flowing-like" then compared to its big brother.
But personally civ4 contains actual "full" 3-dimensional graphics. And civ3 is just another civ 2 clone with 32 bit textures. Not an actual competition if you ask me.
Civ 4 graphics wins my vote! due to not only its "live" resources and terrain eg. trees actually sway, water actually flows. But also its special 3d effects! (have you ever tried dropping a nuke in civ 4)? the resulting atom cloud will "wow" you off your feet!
While a civ3 nuke-dropping looks like one of those blue smurfs ate an un-ripe mushroom and spewed it back up!
