    • I was attempting to circumnavigate the globe using a caravel, and gave it a 'move to here' order with the right click that went a long way, and through a remaining dark patch of map I hadn't explored. When the caravel got closer to this patch, the edge of a large land mass was revealed. Unpertrubed, the caravel decided to plow on regardless and sailed straight through about 10 squares of land, not skimming the coast mind you but just directly overland! I got the "you have circumnavigated the globe" message thanks to my resourcefull caravel crew, but surely this is a bug!

        • When I save a game, the "signs" I made with view mode on the global map disappear.

          • Too long to read, here's my bug:

AI Gets Dumb on Peace Trades:

Wage war for a while till enemy civ offers peace. click the offer away then add peace to diplomacy. Then add most of your enemy's cities to the trade. click 'what would it take to make this work' and get the error message saying you can't add stuff to a peace trade. click it away and now it looks like your rival is offering you peace and 10 cities. Accept his gracious offer

This didn't work for me every time, but I may not have always done it correctly. Big Exploit though. I was able to take my enemy's capital using this method!

            • Not sure if this has been posted, and it's minor, but a bug nonetheless:

When in the City Advisor view (F1), when you click on the Founded column header to sort, it does not distinguish between AD and BC.

              • I would like it confirmed if the culture bomb fizzling is WAD or a bug.

                • To confirm, game now works ok. If you have less than 1Gb (memory+pagefile) the game crashes to desktop at save.

                    • Changing resolution while in-game is possible from the menus, but the UI doesn't scale to size. A restart of the game causes the 'Failed to initialize render'-error. This is on a GF 6800 GT.

                      • Hotseat diplomacy with the other human player is HORRIBLY messed up. My friend could open the negotiation screen, but that's pretty much it. Anything he tries to add to the table appears briefly on the table, then immediately disappears. I CAN initiate deals, he can accept them, but whenever he tries it immediately says no.

Also, Network Game gave me an error, saying that a socket encountered an error.

                        • At first I was not getting the black screen bug, merely the no hammer/money graphic bug. Updated to 6200 nvidia card, and now i get the hammers, but I get black screen bug. Presumably this is from the driver update, since the new card does support shaders 3.0. I would recommend using older drivers where ever possible, not updating to newest as would make sense to do. I haven't nailed down yet which driver version was working properly, but the 66.93 omega version is certainly old enough. I think I was in the low 70 somewheres prior to the new card. 71.89?

Wonder movies glitch is very annoying, but was easily avoided. But the black screen glitch sounds so wide-spread, and encompasses a variety of cards which are listed as supporting.. I can't see how it wouldn't be patchable. If it's not, there will be alot of pissed off civ fans.

                            • Maybe this was reported already -- don't have the time to go thru all 15 pages of this thread!

The replay screen after you retire or win/lose: As it goes thru the game history, it shows everyone's cities being founded and conquered -- everyone, that is, except the Human player. It shows it on the mini-map, but not in the text.

Not a huge deal, but thought I'd report it.

They are able to cross rivers, but not mountains or (non-river) water spaces. When attacking across river, they suffer a river-crossing penalty. That part is easily fixed by giving them the Amphibious trait (like marines have).

They should be able to cross water though, IMHO.
