    • Why aren't you in Ferguson, BK? If you were an eyewitness, you should be there testifying.

Which is why I'm quoting actual witnesses to these events?

Felch, he was stopped for blocking traffic and rather than moving assaulted the officer and tried to take his gun.

At this point, Michael getting shot was more likely than not to occur.

Mr. Jackson held another news conference in which he said Mr. Wilson, who is white, wasn't aware of the robbery when he stopped Mr. Brown.
The witness I've heard explicitly states that the cop found out after the initial encounter when he called for backup.

              Also, so is Felch.

He was walking down the street which is why he was stopped. He was told to get out of the street, refused to comply. Assaulted the officer and went for the gun the gun discharged and the cop called for backup.

Are you admitting now, he was stopped for an appropriate reason?

I'm actually rather disappointed in you Felch. It seems pretty clear to me that this is open and shut. There is no good reason for anyone to go after the cop's gun.

It is interesting the hold that lies have on people.

                  Also, so is Felch.
His witness said he was shot in the back. He was not. Felch's witness is lying.

No, because I live in a free country. Walking down the street is not an appropriate reason to stop somebody.

Of course it's clear to you. You get your news filtered by a bunch of small minded racist hicks. And there are many perfectly good reasons for going after a cop's gun. If that cop is a threat to you, and violating your liberties, take his gun and kill him. Sic semper tyrannis.

If you can't stand the smell of freedom, get the **** out of my country.

I haven't mentioned the back shooting since the autopsy report came out. Before then it was widely reported.

My most recent source was the WSJ article quoting Chief Jackson. Are you saying that Chief Jackson is lying?

He was not walking down the street on the sidewalk, he was in the street.

/me remains strangely unmoved at the assertion that Texans are racist hicks.

                      Such as?

Interesting. At what point did the cop infringe on Michael's rights to the point of justifying his murder?

If you can't stand the smell of freedom, get the **** out of my country.
Unlike you I have to actually follow the law. That includes not assaulting officers and stealing their gun.

I haven't mentioned the back shooting since the autopsy report came out. Before then it was widely reported.
It causes you no concern then to continue repeating the observations from the same discredited source that do not corroborate with other sources.

My most recent source was the WSJ article quoting Chief Jackson. Are you saying that Chief Jackson is lying?
No. The timeline supports his assertion - that Michael was initially pulled over for walking in the street, not the robbery, which corroborates with the witnesses' statement that he was only first informed of the robbery and Michael's possible involvement after calling for backup.

                        • As far as I know the reason for the initial stop was jaywalking. The reason the encounter escalated was likely the earlier robbery. The cop didn't know about it but Brown obviously did. The justification from the officer's perspective for it escalating to the extent it did remains murky.

i don't particularly care either way. I just hope justice is done, and that the truth manages to come out.

You have posted, as fact, things which are demonstrably false later in this thread than Felch has. So you're worse off than him in that account (also, he stopped claiming such things as soon as it became clear they weren't true, unlike you).

I like how you have no doubt whatsoever that whoever you like is telling 100% the complete, unnuanced truth.

I have, on multiple occasions, jaywalked directly in front of moving cop cars. I have never been stopped for it. I wonder why that is.
