It sounds like fun. Think once I finish my current games, and Mass Effect, I'll give it a go. Maybe by then one of my friends will have bought it and finished it

So what was the verdict on Assassin's Creed? Rent it or borrow it, rather than buy it?
Finished the game, and I loved it.
Only part I didn't like is apparently assassin's can't swim?
Otherwise, fantastic. I'd say 9/10.
BTW, I enjoy it more with GPS turned off. It's a bit more challenging, you need to pick up on clues around you rather than follow the blinking dot.

Haven't played CoD4...
Yes.
CoD4 is similar to CoD2 if you played that - massive battles and mayhem. The SP is really good, but pretty short. I picked it up because it was on special at £25 rather than the usual £35.
On Assassin's Creed I'm quite intrigued, but will wait for it to come down in price.
I've got plenty to play already and just ordered Eternal Sonata and Orange Box on Christmas special at Amazon.
That's on top of polishing off CoD4, achievements on Forza, playing some Halo MP, replaying Bioshock and Mass Effect, and a couple of older games I haven't even started, like Rainbow Six Vegas.

It's too tough right now.
Rainbow Six Vegas is a lot of fun (although I'm disappointed the next R6 game will be Vegas 2).
Eternal Sonata OTOH...didn't you play the demo?

Don't let the haters detract from ES if JRPGs are your thing.
The SO really enjoys ES so far.

Curious, which platforms for Orange Box, and COD4?
