As I've said, Halo 3 is a complete package of more than just the SP game. The meat of the game is not SP, as I've also said before.

The vast majority of Halo 3 people I know have played it online.

There was over 1,000,000 people logged in playing Halo 3 specifically in the first 20 hours alone.

XBL usually tells me there are about half a million people playing Halo 3 at any given time.

The first game I played when I got my 42'' was GRAW. Sniping, I felt like I had a ridiculously unfair advantage over people using 'regular' TVs (like the 27'' CRT I'd been using previously).

I can't really say. I tend to switch off when the lame dialogue comes on. Seriously, Bioshock was actually quite fresh because the dialogue and plot is half decent.

I guess they get basement dwelling geeks to write this crap. Honestly, it's not much better than fanfic.

That's not to say much, given the standard of video game stories.

They usually run thus:

Our country/civilization/planet/universe is on the brink of destruction by bad guys. Despite the fact that they are obviously capable of destruction on such a huge scale, everything can be saved by one brutish right-wing neanderthal/huge titted wide-eyed vixen with an unfeasibly large swrd/axe/club/gun aided by a bunch of wooden advisers who pop up at the right time to dispense moronic advice (like the "resonator" speech in GoW). You play the part of this fortunate person through a dozen levels of linear and pointless carnage.

The average pornographic film has a more convincing plot structure and character development.

But hell, most of the people playing the games are more two dimensional than the characters.
