caution might be the best policy, untill a few reviews are in. Why? well its being handled by Atari - they recently killed Age of Pirates by releasing it chock full of bugs+starforce to boot!!
And they are having money troubles NWN2 might be thier last big release in thier current form?!
So contain that excitement untill there is a broad consensus from a few of the decent review sites? well i am anyway

looking good (only on a page 2 of the thread so far though )
Unfortunately my weekend is over. . I hate to buy it when I know I won't have time to play until Monday.
edit: finished reading that thread. Looks like a must buy. No doubt about it. Some were saying the story wasn't that interesting to begin with, but as it went along, it drew you in. The Sebastian guy said this, he seems to have some thoughtful reviews.
Some gripes about the character models, sluggishness in the camera control etc. Average combat animations. Camera controls in NWN 1 were always annoying to me as well. I think I used the overhead cam, and just rotated the camera myself. I couldn't stand the drive/chase modes. I prefer to have complete control. Though it does cause me to have to pause the game sometimes.
And the one guy said he had to lower the resolution to 1024 X 768 or whatever. That's what I play all my games at anyways. I hate it when things are too small to notice the details anyways.
The Good: Compelling story will keep you hooked for the entire 50-plus hours it takes to finish the single-player campaign; full-featured toolset lets you easily create and share new modules; this is just about the most authentic representation of dungeons & dragons you'll find in any game; excellent music and mostly well-done voice acting; the interactive dialogue and influence system make for dynamic and entertaining character interactions.
The Bad: Frustrating camera requires constant attention; steep system requirements for a game that doesn't look particularly good; the artificial intelligence doesn't always cooperate.

The bad sounds like the first game. Wish the AI was better. The good sounds better than the first. Oh well, still need to wait til I get a new computer before I can even think about getting this. More time for GW:NF, I suppose.

"Capitalism ho!"
Sounds good so far, just another few decent reviews and it will be on my 'to get' list.
Still a recomended 3.0Ghz+ is pretty steep, whats with games recently(thinking Oblivion)+crazy specs needed to run them? I can probably just about manage this(i built a PC to run Oblivion), but i dont know why such high specs, especialy as the ai is a dumbass??
