Blountberg 2045

The name of the game for these past 10 years has been densification. Single family homes have been removed for mid-rise apartments and condos as well as commercial service jobs. The subway system was expanded throughout the city. An airport was added to serve the city as well, though it is currently not used much due to the recent downturn in Comm. Office demand.

Epwood 2045

With no more room to expand, Epwood's Mayor concentrated on accomidating the needs of the current residents.

A new Main library was built:



A golden or bronze statue in the likeness of the Mayor was contructed:

You know you are addicted when you;ve been putting in overtime at work doing real urban design, and you come home at 10 PM and still want to play SimCity...

Like I said, don't let me hold up the game. I just kinda wanted to play the city a little bit, and fill up the region some, since nobody else took the small cities, and they looked kinda empty.

I don't have access to SimCity now any way, because I am in Berlin for the week, and so I only have Internet at a public computer.

The Grand Projects
East Central 2050

With resident income and tax revenue on the rise, the latest Five Year Plan brought about many new amenities to the city.

The first is the new Apolyton University overlooking the city from its cliffside perch on Carrot Heights, former location of Aunt Jo's Carrot Farm.

Provost Harrison has supervised the construction of wind turbines and two dormitories near the university. Meanwhile, private merchants have opened numerous other must-haves, including pizza joints and, ahem, tobacco shops.

With a new university, high tech is booming. To celebrate the city's 1337 skillx0rs a Palace has been built near one of the many high-tech districts.

Major funding came from a loan by the Eventis Society, which hopes the new granite palace will symbolize the solidity of their latest server to a skeptical public.
