The strategy side of the game looks much more complex and 'civ-like'. Its virtually a different game from that point of view.We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

Oh my god, I love the graphics. It definitely contributes to the atmosphere when Roman light infantry is thrown fifty meters through air by an elephant.

Edit: Image #1 was taken at 800x600, no high details shadows, medium unit detail, medium terrain detail. The rest were taken at 1024x768 with everything at maximum (something was at High instead of Very High, I forget what). The top notch settings ran pretty well on my rig, it got a bit sluggish when zooming in. I have a Radeon 9600 (128 MB), 512 megabytes of DDR RAM, and an Athlon XP 2500+ for a processor.
The demo has two battles, the first is a guided one as the Romans against the Gauls, the on-your-own battle is as Hannibal and his coalition against the Romans in the Battle of river Trebia.
