        ED2K ???
        Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

                I didnt think there were that many people here who have been waiting for RTW.
                We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

                    I've been looking forward to this game ever since it was announced. Finally a decent Rome game!!

                    Official system specs...

                    Minimum System Requirements

                    * English version of Microsoft(r) Windows(r) 98SE/ME/2000/XP
                    * Pentium(r) III 1.0GHz (1000MHz) or Athlon(tm) 1.0GHz (1000MHz) processor or higher
                    * 256MB RAM
                    * 8x Speed CD-ROM drive (1200KB/sec sustained transfer rate) and latest drivers
                    * 300MB of uncompressed free hard disk space
                    * 100% DirectX(r) 9.0b compatible 16-bit sound card and latest drivers
                    * 100% Windows(r) 98SE/ME/2000/XP compatible mouse, keyboard and latest drivers
                    * DirectX(r) 9.0b
                    * 3D hardware Accelerator Card Required - 100% DirectX(r) 9.0b compatible 64MB Hardware Accelerated video card and the latest drivers.

                    These are for the demo, of course, but only the hard drive space req should change for the real thing.

                      I'd expect that if you want to play the game without lag it'll require a great deal more than that.

                      I expected that Civ3 would incorporate a tactical screen similar to Shogun. Strangely, its gone the other way. The tactical game has incorporated better and better strategy while CIV3 has remained static (if not gone backward) in terms of tactical play.

                      EDIT: I couldnt leave that spelling error

                          Dammit, my card just stopped working last week. I'm using some 32 MB Rivia TNT card.

                              I found the 'recommended' specs a few weeks ago (sorry I forgot where) and they wern't that bad, *apparently* it's doesn't take that much more resources than Medieval to run well
