Anyway...Asher...have they said anything about how water would look in the engine probably? (For future games made with it of course).

Ermm...however they want it to look like?
DOOM3 supports vertex/pixel shading, it's very possible to do realistic water with that.

To trigger the scene in bathroom, you have to equip your flashlight and come real close to the mirror.
Apparently, video card is most important for this game, followed by RAM, followed by CPU. Like I said, CPU being the bottleneck of my system, I still run High fairly well after some optimization.
I also play original Doom... in fact, Doom2 is my most played FPS game, and what I liked best till Doom3. It's nice to know that I will also be playing Doom3 in 3 years when I am equipped with a 6GHz machine, 2 GB RAM and a GeForce 8400 with 512 VRAM. Well, just beat it tonight. Not sure which of the two endings I got... I guess it was the "good" ending. Last boss fight was kind of "meh," but that's kind of par for the course for FPSs. Time to get back to waiting for Half-Life 2
