It seems I have the same crash happening.
Also the Strategies and Goal files are still from past build.Had the Gameobj, ccp Error No such object click yes or No to keep playing.Clicked yes and game crashed.
If no has this happening I might reload CtP2 and then build and add my two files.Could be that some files did not over write when zipping them in.Thank E for your hard work.Attached FilesLast edited by Protra3211; August 8, 2007, 01:12.

The icon doesn't appear on any single unit though, only when I group that army.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)

I'm 1 city from eliminating another AI (Mayans) who had grouped their cities much tighter because of bad terrain, and they had many units in every city, normally 10-12.
The cities with 12 units were still easy to take though, the terrain defence and fortifying bonuses need to be much higher to help the defender. I did this in the AE Mod but wasn't using it here.
I was also able to beat them more easily because they had no Samurai, but I found 4 in ruins without even having Iron Working! That made it much easier to kill their best defenders (sometimes Pikemen against my Hoplites) on the front lines.
Along with those 4 Samurai, I found 4 cities, 1 settler and 2 advances. I also got about 4 or 5 advances from city capture, as if I needed more help.
Overall I haven't noticed a lot of difference yet, but as you can see I got so much help from the units in ruins, and help to get my cities built quickly, then I just kept building units all the time, so it's really unfair to judge the AI on this.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)

Thanks Maquiladora.I rezipped the new build and started a new game and -so far after 150 turns everthing is ok.
I did the same as you did Maquiladora.Build many units at the start and moved them to the border for a quick attack.Playing on very hard level but using the production numbers from impossible (changed them in DiffDB file) its been a good game.Ran into a peaceful nation who wanted to trade maps and also asked a peace treaty.Must of seen all my units coming for its cities..But of course I refused as I was building a invasion force on their border. The AI held out overall at first.Took two of the AI,s cities and was building more units to hold in the rear.AI pushed 3 and 6 stacks to fight back but was taken down after by larger stacks.Used up many units but in the long run defese of AI cities started to weaken.I now have captured 5 cities.
AI is doing better job without adding extra cheats but im thinking that the AI needs to watch its borders early.
In the early playtests it seems that the AI was more aggressive about hemming you in so that it was harder to find room to settle cities. It took longer to expand and longer to build a force ready for war.
In 6th place so far.No time for wonders yet.

One thing I did notice is that the AI isn't aggressive enough.
For example in the game I mentioned, the Greeks declared war on me around 50 turns ago, but haven't sent any units into my territory at all.
This has allowed me to devote all my units into one war against the Russians (now gone) and then the Mayans (almost gone).
Also no one has pillaged me once yet, even the barbarians aren't pillaging, they just attack my cities sometimes.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)
