Okay, I'm not quite sure if I've been doing the stuff in admin right. Should I have made the new tech discovery and my production be completed? What is an Mts, as in "Plasma Sentinel- 4-6Mts"? Let me know if I'm messing up. I'm just getting a little nervous because I have a very angry Morgan next door and hardly a garrison in sight! Who is controlling Morgan, is it a moderator thing? Ahh! The AI doesn't normally get me this stressed! I guess it's a good thing my connection sucks and I can't play multiplayer

Chiron months? That seems like quite a bit of time. Everyone suddenly seemed to have finished producing their garrisons, so I assumed the idea was two regular weeks for a basic garrison unit (i.e. synthmetal, or plasma steel). But you guys are in charge, I'll go with whatever you decide.

So lonely as the only water faction :/ well, lonely until other factions start putting ships in the waters.

Best the pirates can do is start using the sea formers to terraform and go off exploring... maybe first contact? by accident since there is a Comm. Prohibition?

Can I make a suggestion that one of the moderators adopt on of the factions on the continent with the Spartans...its just that I think Cyber might be feeling a little bit lonely with no-one to interact with, as the rest of us seem to be grouped together. Maybe LordLMP, while you're waiting for the pirates to be discovered could adopt the peacekeepers or something.

Yes, but will temporally run the Peacekeepers like Dark Cloud is temporally operating the Morganites or whatever.... Won't state details like what they are building and how many units and what tech they have and so on. I'll wait a bit for the Spartans to send a Scout Rover or so to explore south.

Thats true, Xwaste, nobody to play war games with .
I´ve already started an exploration program, trying to discover as much as possible of the continent on which the Spartans are.The problems is, the map lordLMP sent me doesn´t want to work on my smac.I think its because I don´t have smacx or something.

Cyber-the file is a scenario file, not a map one. You have to select play scenario to open it, not load map file. If that wasn't the problem then maybe you do need smacx - I don't know.

I´ve tried it that way.It only gives me "cannot open password protected multiplayer as a single player".
When I try it from multiplayer it gives me "Error reading file".
A very frustrating situation.

Can't help with the map then, not being too techy...maybe it corrupted in the transfer and LordLMP might have to send it again.
With the tech, read the rollcall, rules thread which outlines tech advances. Basically if you have picked your social enginering levels to allocate 50% to research then you get an advance a week so - games started on the 13/9. Next tech on 20/9, then 27/9 and so on.

well, maybe the earlier techs may be reach in about a week real time or more, but later techs will take longer to research, like the Game
