Of course it will be more probably because even with a week off and facing a team with a short week with injuries at almost every position, that you couldn't beat them at home. Sigh

I was in a bar with Lanny watching game and couldn't really hear the commentary so we weren't sure of the call and who made the challenge. Once they made the call, someone else at bar looked up the ruling so we understood why it was called that way and pissed that once again they are hurt by a ruling like that. Then today on Score I heard that Bears had made challenge and won it (so that's why I couldn't figure it out) but because they did so it cost them first and goal inside the one. Sounds like McCarthy would not have challenged it so we lose it due to our own stupidity. How Bears of us!!!! Can't blame runner as he is trying to make a play and score, but Fox should have known the rule.

So not really upset they lost - Fox will now definitely be gone (go ahead and take the OC with you) and they can end up with better draft pick and everyone can stop talking about chances of making playoffs.

I had no playoff illusions and was confident The Beloved would find a way to lose this game, which was ripe for the picking.

It's a stupid rule, but one that is clearly written and was correctly enforced. If Cunningham misses the pylon, it's just a fumble out of bounds at the 1. Of course, if Benny just HANGS ONTO THE DAMNED BALL, there's no discussion. It's like he just let go when he got hit - on the hip.

Opportunity squandered. And when your offense is that bad, you can't fritter them away. Especially when the defense (lookin' at you, Kyle Fuller) is having a bad day. Special teams sucked, too.

Gruden won Tampa Bay's only Super Bowl, so that's usually where the rumors start.

My understanding is that no owner wants to put up with his power-tripping Type A personality/drama, or he would have had a gig long ago.
