Jeff Lurie, Eagles owner, must miss Andy Reid. Doug Pederson and Reid go way back.

Pederson was Favre's backup while Reid was the OC in Green Bay, Pederson followed Reid to the Eagles where he was Reid's first starting QB as a head coach. Pederson returned to the Eagles after his playing career as a staff member and then QB coach then followed Reid to KC. You can't get more of a disciple of Andy Reid than that!


For the Giants, Ben McAdoo's promotion is interesting. Eli Manning has played by a large measure the best football of his career with McAdoo (65 TDs, 28 INTs the last two years after 18 TDs, 27 INTs in 2013)

But promoting McAdoo and retaining Spagnuolo, while it keeps continuity, is a little odd. When does an owner fire a head coach but keep his entire staff in place?

Cost me my season. Plus, I'm tired of the Packers, community owned or not. I would root for them over the Patriotsc though.

I was surprised my pick of Brees turned out to be the best first round pick. Had I settled on a Rivers pick, I would have lost.

Shockingly, all 4 top seeds make it to the conference finals. Whoever wins the NFC (Arizona at Carolina) will likely be favored in the Super Bowl over the NE-Denver winner.

The AFC is a nostalgia fest -- Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning for seemingly the 200th time. (Actually, it's the 17th. Brady has gone 11-5 head-to-head against Manning. In postseason, they've met 4 times and split. Manning is 2-1 against Brady in AFC championship match-ups.)

Yea, it didn't even matter who won yesterday. With the exception of Gannon in 2002 and Flacco in 2012, the streak has been incredible for the AFC QB in the Super Bowl this millennium:
2001, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2011, 2014: Brady
2005, 2008, 2010: Roethlisberger
2006, 2009, 2013: Manning

I drafted Stewart in the 7th round. He was crucial to my championship but he didn't play on the final day.

Cam Newton is good, but there were better QBs that were not as expensive, (Rivers).

I also expect that they will lose to Denver.
