Too bad Carolina couldn't keep it going today (but not surprising). The Seattle-SF re-re-rematch next week should be epic.

I don't think a scrambling (or "mobile") QB has ever won a super bowl... at least not in the last 30+ years.

Such gimmick offenses can surprise people at first, but they aren't and have never been successful long term strategies.

Steve Young 1994. I addressed this in my report on mobile QB's. Given that mobile QB's are so rare, it is expected that the vast majority of SB winning QB's would be non-mobile.
