The recaps are a nice upgrade for a free service like Yahoo.
Some bits are kinda stupid, like the What If section, and a couple of the graphs are a bit worthless. Looks like they used differential by percentage vs projection as a trigger for inclusion, which leads to some odd "choices" like bothering to note that a DL scored 7 pts instead of the projected 4.13 But yeah, for generated content, it's pretty nice.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

I'm in a league where the commissioner writes up a weekly recap. Pretty awesome of her.
I destroyed her mom this week, too
Yes, this was the $25 league I have Ryan, Forte, DMC, Julio, and Graham in.

Don's weakly FF question:
I need to pick three of these four:
WR B.Lloyd (NE), TE A.Hernandez (NE), WR M.Floyd (SD) and WR L.Moore (NO)
Normally, I would say that yards receiving is the biggest concern, however, since my opponent has an outstanding receiving corp (A.Johnson, L.Fitz, J.Graham and D.Sporels as a RB to boot), I'm not sure I stand much of a chance in the receiving category (my RBs that I'm starting are D.Murray and MJD). The first question is 'Do you think any combination of my WR/TEs can catch for more yards than my opponent and if you do, which three do you think will do it?' The second part is if you don't think I can get the needed rec yards, which combination do you think will get me the most TDs?
I have see many conflicting reports about all my WRs.
Some say hold off on Lloyd as he and Brady still need to work on their rapport. Some say slot him and forget him as he had the most targets in game 1.
Some reports say that Moore is emerging as Brees favorite target. Some say it was a 1 game deal last week and he'll go back to sub-100 yard games regularly.
Floyd is the heir appearent to WR1 in SD, but Mechem and Royal both played big roles last week. Do they continue to eat away at Floyd or will he keep going because Rivers is the most familier with him?
Ironically, Hernandez, a TE, seems to be the only 'WR' that I have that I can start every week and not worry about.Founder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!

Sit Lance Moore. Brees likes him, but I'd sit him this week. Only one game so far, but Carolina has given up the least fantasy points to Wide Receivers this season.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

As a SD fan, I expect you to know more about Floyd than anyone on this site. What do you think of him? Or, more specifically, what do you think of him this weekend?
BTW- I also have WR K.Britt (Ten) and WR D.Moore (Oak) sitting on my bench.Founder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!

Ben doesn't follow football. He was talking about Mike Tolbert was going to be a factor this year for the Chargers.
Oh yeah and **** THE CHICAGO BEARS!!!!

I'm much higher on Meachem taking over the WR1 slot with Jackson out and Brown gone. Brown last year was actually more productive than Floyd, and will likely take over the WR2 spot when he comes back.
Chargers will do the same thing they did against the Raiders - use the short passing game in place of the running game, and that means balls for Floyd. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a TD, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him drop the TD in the endzone.
I liked his game in game one, except for the drops the Chargers had their way with Oakland, but they should have scored more TDs.
I'd run Britt if you have him, over Floyd. Tennessee is going to be throwing the ball all night long.
I'd run Britt, M Floyd and Hernandez were it my team.Last edited by Ben Kenobi; September 14, 2012, 20:20.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

I know Britt's an amazing talent, and reports have him as full participant at friday's practice, but those same reports have him on a snap count this weekend with a full load for next week.
Dammit. We need a fan for every team. Everyone: Go find a fan of each team and bring them here!Founder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!
