Weekly scoring changes are usually swings of a point or two. But if anyone had Roethlisberger going in a close game, this could be big news...

The NFL issued a stat correction Wednesday, awarding Ben Roethlisberger a touchdown pass on what had previously been ruled a lateral to Rashard Mendenhall.

Officials on the field ruled that Roethlisberger threw the ball behind the line of scrimmage, so Mendenhall was credited with a 13-yard touchdown run. But after review, the ball traveled forward, so it's a pass. The scoring change will impact thousands of Week 5 fantasy matchups. Roethlisberger is now up to nine touchdowns, one interception and 281.0 passing yards per game through four weeks.

Curious what 'Poly thinks. ESPN standard league (not PPR), going up against the second best team in the league (to mine). 4 running backs, choose two: Adrian Peterson (vs WAS), Trent Richardson (vs CIN), Rashard Mendenhall (vs TEN), Stevan Ridley (vs SEA). I think I order them in the order given - I will start Peterson and Richardson - but there are so many reasons to choose Mendenhall or Ridley...

Yeah, this team is pretty killer if nobody gets hurt. Ryan, those four, Fitz/Roddy/VCruz, Witten, Bears D... but it does depend on nobody getting hurt at QB or WR, both of which I have no real backup for (I guess Dalton is a passable QB, but he's not duplicating Ryan's numbers, and in a 10 team league is near the bottom of the backups).

Ridley's upside will likely be limited this week. I suspect that there will be some attempts at pounding the ball, but he'll spend a lot of time on the bench as Woodhead is in to pick up the pass rush.

Also, looked at FO's stats, and swapped APete and Mendenhall. WAS has an actually passable run defense, while TEN is horrid at pass defense and bad at run defense; and given APete hasn't actually scored amazingly the last few weeks, I think Mendy might be the safer bet.

Not passing, just pass defense. Passing they're still fine with.

You know what? That's only partially true. Too often in the past have I insisted on starting a player because I drafted him high. That's not always the answer.

Matt Forte on bye, I'm having a tough time picking between Doug Martin, Mikel Leshoure, and Vick Ballard. Martin is the obvious one but he hasn't been that great this year and seems to be entering a time share.

Could be Leshoure's last chance to really claim the job. Of course, in IDP, I benched both Leshoure and Martin for tonight's Mendenhall disaster (started him last week and cashed in big). Hope snoop didn't make the same mistake I did.

This is my big potential disaster week - 3 out of my 4 teams have the QB on bye.
